In the Western world, poverty is often seen as a lack of material possessions. However, for those living in poverty, it is a psychological burden that goes beyond material need. It is about feeling shame, humiliation, and a lack of purpose or belonging. Simply providing handouts can exacerbate these feelings of inadequacy, preventing individuals from seeking long-term solutions.

At Vintage Skills International, we approach poverty differently. We stand beside the impoverished, guiding them to think through their challenges and empowering them to find solutions. Through our training and education programs, set in an encouraging environment, individuals can discover their unique talents and purpose, bestowed upon them by God. Our goal is to uplift and empower individuals to become World Changers.

Your Donations at Work

Your donation enables us to offer education not only to those in poverty but to anyone seeking a more self-sustainable lifestyle, reducing reliance on store-bought items. We provide classes in the USA, online videos, and training center programs in Liberia, with plans to expand to more countries in the future.

Our training center has the potential to impact 30-60 villages annually, many of which have never been exposed to the gospel message before.

As the body of Messiah, we have a unique opportunity to invest in worldwide transformation. Your donations help us share our curriculum with developing countries, all in our mission of Restoring Mankind to the Garden. We believe in transparency regarding our funding needs, so you may wonder if assistance is still needed. Below, you’ll find the amount required for us to achieve our goals this month, updated every Tuesday to keep you informed. Our overhead costs are currently very low—all workers in the USA are volunteers, and much of our software has been donated. 

This means nearly all contributions go directly overseas, covering:

• Training center staff
• Overhead costs
• Vehicle maintenance
• Transportation
• Running training seminars
• Support and coaching for single moms, widows, and orphans as needs arise

For the past nine months, we’ve managed to meet all monthly needs except for the seminars. With your support, we can resume these vital training programs again. Thank you for being a part of this important work!

Join the Harvesters’ Club!

Introducing… the Harvesters’ Club – our new national gardening class! By signing up for membership, you’ll gain access to our monthly online virtual class . Let’s connect and learn from one another! The focus will primarily be on growing your own food, but we’ll also cover health and wellness, as well as homesteading skills.

Classes will be held on the first Tuesday of every month from 7 PM to 8 PM EST. Don’t worry if you miss a class—a link to the recorded session will be emailed the next day.

By joining the Harvesters’ Club, you’ll not only enhance your skills for harvesting abundance but also support our mission to reach remote African villages.
